We work in a relaxed and friendly setting in our own craft workshop. Whatever you wish to learn our teachers can train you on your own specific needs. We are very flexible as is the craft industry, so we adapt to your exact needs and requirements. We have put this course together for anyone interested in in leathercraft or if you want to startup your own repurposing leathercraft business.
Learn To Craft:
learn how to patter, craft and manufacture hand crafted fashion goods, from handbags, to purses, shoes to belts, hats to aprons, gifts to phone cases, with out leathercraft workshop we can teach you everything you need to know and how to start your own business, fully support and help you grow. Course Contents:
Everything is included with the course, all tools, equipment, and materials, you just need to turn up and start making something unique on the course. You'll learn the basics of leatherwork, all about the materials and tools, cutting and preparing natural vegetable tanned leather, and traditional hand stitching techniques, as well as fixing hardware. You’ll get to know other materials as well as veg tanned leathers, working with them and how to make patterns, imprints, correct ways of cutting and burnishing.
What To Expect
We have everything on hand just for you, multiple types of sewing machines, as well as hand sewing options, dyeing leather, painting leather and even turning them funky with metallics.
We are a friendly bunch of people, we always have tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate cakes on hand or donuts if you like.
We work in small groups only and can only take on 6 students at a time, so we can devote our full attention to each and every one of you.
It’s a full hands-on course from 9am till 4pm.
Course cost is just £165 per person, plus VAT.
