The Leather Repair Pen is an easy to use item
Shake the leather repair pen well first of all.
Give the area to be touched up a quick clean with leather cleaner or wipe lightly with alcohol cleaner.
Simply pump the tip to make sure the colour / dye is flowing through, once that’s done you can start to carry out small areas of touch ups to leather goods.

Stephen Collier I purchased one pen to repair a mid brown item, turned out it was very pale and unsuitable. I thought it was my mistake buying one too light in colour and purchased a second described as dark brown. This was the same colour! Very light, tube was dented and obviously had been used. If I had not bought the previous one I would not have realised, but when new the "nib" is white and has to be pressed multiple times for the ink to run down. The second was already coloured and ink available.

Stephen Collier Ordered a mid brown colour which turned out to be too light. Thought is my mistake so bought another, this time Ordered dark brown. Received a pen just as light a colour. This second pen was dented and had previously been used as the ink was at the end of the nib, with the first pen I had to press many times for colour to run to end of nib to use it.

All pens are brand new as you could tell by the tip as it was white.
You ordered a light tan pen and not a dark brown pen hence why the colour is wrong, so that's why you think its light when we have supplied exactly what you ordered as you did not order a dark brown pen.

Joanna Goodman I sent for a pen to fix some worn patches on a white handbag, and although I ordered ivory, the colour pen that arrived was grey - not even close to ivory, as the tone was blueish rather than cream, and far too dark. I shook it and tested it on a separate item, fortunately, so I didn't ruin my bag. The sticker saying Ivory was hand written, so it was obviously mislabelled. It was only £10.50 so not worth the effort of returning it, but it was a complete waste of time. I have thrown it away. I would definitely avoid this supplier.
Hi we are sorry about this, but please understand there are several thousand variations of ivory, the pen you ordered was one of our standard ivory pens, as per our picture on line with colour samples, it's not designed to be a guaranteed match to your item unless you pay for an exact matching service. All labels are hand written, it's not mislabelled.
You could have returned this for a refund rather than throw it away, all parcels are always sent via royal mail as it offers the best solution for deliveries, its fast, secure and reliable, unlike other companies that chuck parcel over fences or leave them on door steps.
