The Leather Softening Crème works by entering the leather and soaking into every single fibre, restoring soft and supple leather.

When restoring old broken leather, the surface leather colourant usually cracks along with it and must be rubbed out. If the leather has cracked and the colorant on the surface has faded. The Leather Softening Crème can be used to make the leather soft and supple once again without the need to remove the colour if you wish to retain originality and that beautiful leather patina.

The Leather Softening Crème can be used to soften old dried up brittle worn leathers without destroying the colourant.

Its unique formula allows it to work on all types of leathers including anilines, pigmented, two tone, semi aniline, veg tanned, antique two tone leather, top coated leather and rub off leather.

Purpose

The Leather Softening Crème is intended for use on worn, dried-out leather, such as vehicle seats, sofas, shoes, luggage, and clothing. With its natural oils and preservatives, it will also restore some of the colour. Use the Leather Softening Crème to infuse life back into leather that has become hard, brittle, and depleted of all its natural oils and nutrition. Works great on furniture and classic cars.

Instructions

Put on protective gloves and generously coat the leather with the Leather Softening Cream, kneading it into the cracked areas
Massage well into the broken areas, pushing the leather in all directions to ensure the leather reviver is working into the grain and fibre structures of the leather hyde
Apply a second generous coat of the leather softening lotion and leave it to dry for a few hours or overnight for best results
Wrap the second layer in cling film to allow it to penetrate deeper into the fibres; however, this step is optional
Wipe off the surface with a cloth soaked in leather cleaner to remove any residue
If you are restoring the seats and the leather colour has been partially removed for the colour restoration process, then this can be applied very thickly and massaged into the leathers kin with a leather massage roller, then wrapped up in cling film or shrink wrap to sock in for a few days.

Well what an I say about this product other than it definitely does what its intended for & that is to help soften dry hard leather. I came across Leather Repair Company by chance when I was searching for the best leather cleaning & protection products on the market. Looking at the history & customer reviews I decided to give their products a try. I have to say that I was not disappointed as its definitely softened the leather seats on my car & that with only two applications. I can only imagine that it will soften the leather seats even more with a few more applications. This product is so easy to apply & has a great scent to it. None of that horrible artificial scent you get from these other cheap brands out there.
Guys don’t waste your money with other brands out there. You only need Leather Repair company products for all your leather care. THE BEST.👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

This is the second bottle of LRC20 that I've had in the past few years. Really like this product as it leaves my cowhide and American horsehide jackets with a lovely soft and supple feel to the hide. My Lewis leathers motorcycle jacket is is very expensive at over £1000 and so i would not use any other products.

This product has worked wonders on a water-damaged leather car seat. I have alternated it daily with leather cleaner and it has made a huge difference. I might not need to get the car seat reupholstered.

It also works a treat to soften shoes with just the first application.

We have been delighted with all the leather repair products we have bought from LRC. The dye has excellent coverage if used as shown in the great video guides.
The colour did not come out quite the same as the sample we supplied but we really like the new colour.

It's like a top quality face cream but for your settee! Two applications made my sad settee look like new again. I love this product and would highly recommend it.
