C5 Colour Mixing System

Professional Leather Colour Dyes | Simple, Structured, Proven

The LRC C5 Colour Mixing System has been designed to remove confusion, eliminate wasted materials, and give you complete control when working with leather colour dyes. Built on decades of industry experience, C5 simplifies what has traditionally been seen as complex and inconsistent — turning colour matching into a structured, repeatable process.

At its core, the system uses just five essential leather dye colours:

  • White
  • Weak Black
  • Red
  • Yellow
  • Blue

These five carefully selected base colours allow you to create an extensive range of shades used across automotive leather, furniture, aviation interiors, fashion items, and more.

A Smarter Approach to Leather Colour Matching

Most colour mixing methods rely on guesswork, overcomplication, and excessive product use. The C5 system changes that.

By following a proven, step-by-step structure, you can:

  • Achieve consistent and accurate colour matches

  • Reduce time spent mixing and testing

  • Minimise product waste and unnecessary adjustments

  • Build confidence in your leather repair and restoration work

This is not just a set of colours — it is a complete system for professional leather colour restoration.

Why These Five Colours?

Each colour in the C5 system has been carefully selected for maximum versatility and control:

White – Used to lighten tones and create softer, more natural finishes commonly found in modern leather interiors.

Weak Black – A critical component of the system. Designed for controlled darkening without overpowering the mix, allowing for precision shading and tonal balance.

Red – Essential for warmth, depth, and creating natural leather hues such as browns, oxbloods, and maroons.

Yellow – Provides brightness and undertone adjustment, crucial for achieving beiges, tans, and golden finishes.

Blue – Adds depth and coolness, enabling the creation of greys, deep tones, and colour correction where required.

Together, these form a balanced, professional-grade leather dye system that covers the vast majority of colour matching requirements.
